Interstate Mills produces and sells made-to-order, high-quality bulk meal swine feed throughout southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. It has the capacity to produce 470,000 tons annually at its Owatonna and Hayfield milling operations.
Both feed mills feature computer automated micro-ingredient weighing systems. There is constant testing of corn micron size for feed efficiency utilization.
Cleanliness is a top priority at Interstate Mills. All ingredients are purchased through preferred suppliers, and ingredients and finished feed are sampled and tested regularly. Finished feed undergoes a screener/cleaner process before load-out.
